United Biochemicals realizes that the key to our success lies in meeting our customers’ quality and service expectations. To this end we received our ISO 9001:2000 certification in July 2006.

Quality MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A quality manual has been created which outlines the company’s quality policy, quality objectives, and quality management system. United Biochemicals maintains Quality Management System policies and procedures under document control. These procedures include administration, manufacturing, analytical methods, equipment operation as well as other pertinent functions.

United Biochemicals has established a Material Review Board that manages our Corrective and Preventative Action System. The Material Review Board addresses audit observations, deviations, complaints and non-conforming materials. The Corrective and Preventative Action System procedures are designed to identify areas for improvement to products and processes and to allow the Board to implement actions that will prevent issues from occurring or reoccurring.  United Biochemicals is committed to meeting our customers’ needs for quality products and services. Any customer complaints are reviewed and/or, investigated. The Company has established procedures defining how complaints are investigated and how corrective actions are to be implemented.

United Biochemicals has established an internal audit program designed to drive continuous improvement and help the company to meet its quality goals. Internal audits are carried out periodically and are an integral part of our quality system.

Customer quality audits are permitted at our facility provided we are given notification 30 days prior to the visit. We also request that the customer send an agenda two weeks before the audit date. United Biochemicals reserves the right to cancel or amend the audit schedule as needed.
