United Biochemicals is combining its capabilities in buffer manufacturing with sterile liquid manufacture to offer a new line of products and services to its customers. With recent capital investment in a second sterile liquid manufacturing facility alongside our chemical production lines, we are well positioned to manufacture sterile liquid buffer solutions as well as other commonly used sterile solutions for molecular biology and cell culture. In addition, as of the end of August 2006, United Biochemicals will be offering cell culture testing services to our customers.

With complete labeling and packaging capabilities, United Biochemicals is a cost effective choice when considering OEM services. Antibiotic Solutions

United Biochemicals is a major OEM manufacturer of liquid antibiotic solutions for the research market. A separate 23,000 square foot facility houses our beta-lactam antibiotic solutions operation. All products containing penicillin are manufactured and stored in this facility, segregated from all other products. We have the capabilities to manufacture cell culture media containing these antibiotics as well.

Chemical Manufacturing

Our chemical manufacturing capabilities include production of Tris HCl, and salt derivatives of MES, MOPS, TES, HEPES, and CHES. We can also manufacture Bis-Tris Propane and Tricine. In addition to buffer derivatives we also have established core competencies in the productions of amino acid derivatives. Top products include L-Tyrosine Disodium Dihydrate and L-Cystine Dihydrochloride. These products are used extensively in cell culture media formulations.
