Quality Management System
Meeting the quality and service expectations of customers is key to our success. To this end, we maintain ISO 9001:2008 certification and follow a quality manual which outlines our quality policy, quality objectives and quality management system. United Biochemicals also utilizes a Quality Management System that defines policies and procedures related to document control, administration, manufacturing, analytical methods, equipment operation as well as other pertinent functions.
A Material Review Board manages our Corrective and Preventative Action System. This Material Review Board addresses audit observations, deviations, complaints and non-conforming materials. The Corrective and Preventative Action System identifies areas for improvement to products and processes and allows the Board to implement actions that will prevent issues from occurring and/or reoccurring. United Biochemicals is committed to meeting our customers’ needs for quality products and services. Customer complaints are reviewed and investigated against established procedures to identify how corrective actions are to be implemented.
United Biochemicals has an internal audit program to drive continuous improvement and meet quality goals. Internal audits are carried out periodically and are an integral part of our quality system.
Customer quality audits are permitted at our facility provided we are given notification 30 days prior to the visit. We also request customers send an agenda two weeks before the audit date. United Biochemicals reserves the right to cancel or amend the audit schedule as needed.
